This truck has most options. I like the truck but feel the stereo and phone and navigation are possibly the worst ever I've ever seen. My 2010 Dodge was much more user friendly.

I need to know if any of you have changed out the worst feature of the otherwise great truck.

I feel I already spent enough on this truck but it's so bad I am willing to throw another $2-3K to make this right. Oh and the actual sound even is horrible. My seven year old stock dodge sounded 10 times better than this. Please help as I am not willing to settle for this stock stereo. Bose speakers so hopefully they will be salvagble

Is it an LT or LTZ? If you dont have the bucket seats then you dont have the Sub, makes a big difference. I am happy with my tunes in my '17 Silverado 3500 LTZ. And this is coming from someone who used to build competition grade sound systems. I found the navigation to be manageable, but I tend to use the Android Auto Navigation a lot more.

That being said replacing the HU is not a wise idea since it's tied into so many systems, however you could use an aftermarket sound processor and independent amps and speakers to achieve what you may be after. In the past I have worked with AudioControl, Alpine and Rockford Fosgate, found the 3Sixty3 to be one of the easier ones to manage.

So if I have the bucket seats, I have a sub?? lol thats awesome... Learning new things about my truck, I've had for one year now, every day! there are so many things in mine i cant even keep track.

I think the bose system is great... its not gonna win any awards, but for a stock system i dont have any complaints. This is my first vehicle with in-dash navigation, so I really dont have much to compare it to, but i cant find anything wrong with it. you can add destinations and waypoints within the route. Cant see what else you would need. I've literally stopped using my phone (google maps) for navigation due to the convenience of in-dash nav.

i love this truck. kind of wish i got the diesel. only regret
