2015 Silverado Led headlights

Sorry to beat the dead horse, as I've seen the thread somewhere in here but cant seem to find it now.

 

What's THE BEST led headlights. Awhile back I bought morimoto and they didn't work. I'd have to flip my lights on and off 200 times to get them to come on and eventually turn off... So I returned them.

I want something plug and play. Something simple

The 16-17 Chevy lights are different than the 14-15 and won't interchange without a total front replacement. i can't recall reading about a replacement led bulb that was worthwhile for the 14-15 Chevy. Possibly look into having HID projectors retrofit.

No front end needed for the stock lights. Just need a harness adapter. Lots of info on here about this.

Ok I thought you had done HIDs previously. Think Whaler is getting Silverado and Sierra mixed up. I have read the Chevy has to have different front end while on Sierra lights simply swap out and a new harness is required.

You need canbus error code eliminators with leds, same as hids. That's why you had to turn them on and off or they would turn off on their own.

Any led in a halogen housing will look like crap. It looks bright, until you pull up to a wall and look at the glare. Plus oncoming traffic will hate you. Go with the Morimoto HID's and be done with it. Output will be better in a projector housing though.

On my '15 Sivlerado that I had, I had put in the XenonDepot.com LED DRL's, Brights and Fog lamps and they were amazing.

So send em back for new set they have a 5yr warranty. Shouldnt be a big issue.
