I never took it to the dealer.  I'm out of warranty at 80k and 4yrs.  Not worried about it, it can't break again if it's still broken.

OK So I have the same problem. 2014 silverado ltz. lights come on for heated seats, no heat on driver or passenger side. The AC part of the seat works perfectly. But why would both elements go out at the same time when the passenger side is NEVER used? This seems to be a common problem with these trucks.

It is common on the 14 and 15's

Had both of my bottom and back elements replaced on driver and passenger seats.

Poor design is the culprit.

No real reason to fix out of warranty.

They will keep failing :(

Mine both broke at the same time before it had 5000, never bothered to take it in as I read it would just be a continuous problem. Almost at 60k now and I still haven’t got them fixed but the ac works great lol. Figured I’d fix the heating element whenever I upgrade to real leather. I’ve also wondered if it would be possible to just get seats from a 16+ and slap em in as they seemed to have corrected the issue with those years, unless I’m wrong?

16 and up were redesigned from my understanding.

Those of us who own a '14 or 15' just have to deal with it.

If you want heated seats that work in the '14 or '15 K2, buy these....

I used my heated seats on my 2015 3500 Chevy just 4 times, pressed the button, heard a click saw the light for the seat flash for a second. And they haven't worked since. The truck was 3 years and 3 months old with less than 10,000 miles on it. Both seats not working. I can't find a fuse marked for the seats. Anyone have any ideas? I am thinking it's a relay, because both elements shouldn't go out at the same time.
