I noticed traffic died off with the change too. I wasn't thrilled with the changes to be honest.

But also like a poster before said, I haven't seen any real DIY problem/fix discussions here for awhile. So people are either content quietly taking it their dealer/mechanic, or these trucks are actually pretty damn solid. I hope to keep mine for a while so I hope its the latter.

Ok, I'll admit "I'm one who has asked the same dumb question"? that's been asked too many times, but I got a good excuse....im "old", inexperienced, and don't have time to waste researching ?. Plus I thought if you wanted to know something, you ask somebody who has done/tried it! If 3 people answer you, 1 might tell the truth. ? however, when I finally decide what I'm going to do, im going to do it and THANK all you wonderful people for the "top notch" help/advise and experience you gave me, plus the time you saved me.

It does!! My experiences have taught me to "give it a try, but make sure you have the money to pay to have it "done right". While the idea of doing it myself is nice, the thought of having it done "right and guaranteed" is AWESOME ?. Actually, it depends on when you get your truck, what/any mods you want & how much $$$$ you can afford to spend! Ive learned a few things since i starting coming here, and appreciate those who have tried/done the mods I think of and are willing to be "HONEST" about their triumphs and failures.

I personally doubt the new format had an impact on member participation. I believe it is more like others have suggested that there is already a wealth of information on this site for new members. We haven't run out of topics but have exhausted some of the everyday or more common subjects. The new model of Silverado/Sierra will refresh these topics. I urge members to start topics that are not easily found in the search feature. After 40+ years of driving, I just discovered "conversation mirrors". If these were new to me, then they are likely new to others. I shared this information on this forum and found others to be interested. I challenge members to introduce topics that they think may be news to other GM truck owners. We don't know what we don't know!
