I may be wrong here, but shouldn’t it work with Mylink app when installed?

That is what others with onstar are saying.

Not on here but locally.

Yes it will work on the chevy mylink app but you have to call them and have it added.

Had the OEM installed today and it will work with the MYLINK APP too.

Paid too much but they're on the hook if anything goes wrong.

It was only $300 out here for 2 fobs and programming on a Cadilliac? LOL. Glad it all worked out though.

Don't worry about people saying you paid too much..... who cares lol.  As long as it works and you are happy that is what matters.

Yeah, the older I get the more I have to keep reminding myself that. It's my nickle not theirs. LOL

Also it is a factory part with factory warranty and if anything goes wrong its on there dime and no crap about an aftermarket part which is worth every penny.

Do you know if you have to be a paying onstar member for this feature?

I only have the free basic plan as part of the purchase, I believe 5 years?

when I called for them to upgrade the app, nothing was said.

They said it would take up to 5 -7 days for it to appear on the app. This is day 3 not counting the weekend.

No.

It's part of the free (basic) plan -- at least for first 5 years.
