GM Pickup with a Console Shifter ?

Ive had both and the console shifter is not all it’s cracked up to be.  Just is kind of a waste of space more or less. Column for me. (I guess that means I’m telling on myself buying something non-GM.) I obviously went back though.

It's OK...there are some nice trucks out there. I came close to making the same "mistake"

For me, the open bin for 'stuff' is a LOT more useful than using the space for a shifter. 

 

Lot's of times I'm in and out of the truck all day, and want/need the handy temporary storage.

 

 

I hope GM never makes the mistake of moving the shifter to the console.

Column shifter all day long!!! And screw these push buttons that are coming in on the new Tahoes and suburbans which I’m sure will creep there way in as options...
