Valet Switch

What is the "Valet Switch" on an NNBS?  Saw this setting on my Tech2 the other day.

I believe it's a horsepower limiting function, similar to limp mode, so the teenage valet doesn't go laying patches all over the city & laughing with his buddies while you're at a function.

I thought it was a feature on high performance models that cuts power, makes traction control undefeatable and a few other things to prevent abuse. I don’t think trucks have it.
