Power mirrors

Hate that my new 2018 Silverado doesn’t have power retractable mirrors as I have to manually retract them to get in my garage. Does anybody know if the necessary wiring would already be in the door for power and switch and power retract mirror source if Igot new power mirrors and switch with the retract feature. Obviously I have power mirrors but not with retract feature and same for switch. Thanks

I did this on my 2003 avalanche, just bought the power folding mirrors with the directional signal in them and just had to bring to the dealer to program it, the mirrors were a plug and play since the wire harness was already inside the door

I would also like to do this to my new truck

Upgrading to power fold will not be plug and play on your new truck. However it is easy to do with a harness from @pgamboa and a set of mirrors. All you have to do is swap out your factory harness, switch, and mirrors. It is pretty easy.

EDIT: not plug and play from GM, it is plug and play with Phil's harness

This is Plug and Play setup. I build these harnesses to make this upgrade easy. Like what has been posted, swap mirros, door harnesses, and switch.

There is no dealer reprogram necessary. Please please please don’t let the dealer tell you there is one. There is no way to physically move the wires in a harness with a reprogram. Lol.

I officially go on vacation, flying out on Tuesday 6/12. I am taking orders while on vacation and will build/ship orders as soon as I return on 6/19... I will build/ship in the order they come in. So depending on the backlog, it may be a week after 6/19 to get caught up on any new orders that come in after 6/19.
