Yes, you use this to replace it. Just looked up the part number.

The display is fine but the touch doesn’t work. The dealer wants $450 for the screen and $200 for install and programming. I can’t quite make out the part number on you unit to see if it matches the new number the dealer gave me.

Sorry for posting with two users. Tapatalk keeps making a generic user.

The dealer said the replacement unit for my truck is part number 23383728 and requires programming.

The screen should work, if you want you can pay for it and I’ll ship to you and test if it doesn’t work I’ll refund you money.

Screen doesn’t need programming. If you are doing a straight replacement... just swap it out.

I’ve installed screens on my truck just to test them and they turn on just fine.

Oh dealers. Lol

Thanks for the offer and help but I'm trying to get this done as cheap as possible (just bought my daughter a Camaro!).  Since it doesn't require programming I may try to find one local and buy just the screen.  My radio works just fine and I can control it with the buttons but would like to be able to use the screen again.

Hi guys. I'm the new owner of a 2015 Silverado that needs a new touch screen.

 

Does anyone know answers to these questions? GM parts catalog shows that 23485741 is "replaced by" 23383728.

 

Hoping that means it plugs and plays just like the prior version. Thanks!
