Tire load range rating

Recommended Posts

I have a brand new 2018 Silverado 2500 HD that has the factory Goodyear SR-A all season tires (load range E).

I have the opportunity to buy a set of brand new BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2’s at a real good price.  However they are a load range C tire.

I don’t tow or carry any heavy loads so would these load range C tires be OK to use on my truck ?

Load range C tires (KO2’s) are rated for 2755lbs.

Load tange E tires (KO2’s) are rated for 3195 lbs.
