ORL Switch Color Change

I know a few here have switched and have added the Off road light switch.  I have a 14 Denali with the Red back lighting.  I know GM makes a Red backround switch However they are pretty pricey.  I have found the 16-18 switch off Ebay for cheap.  I have expierence with taking apart the GM Switches in other platforms, but not the K2XX.

 

my question is, has anyone taken apart the switch (its only 2 plastic halves that snap together) and seen whats inside? could you make it Red?   In a perfect world Take my OEM Switch with the red, and add the knob with the ORL

How much is the sketch in red?

I bought one new from GM (paid like $130 for it) and thinking about going back to blue. Lol

The Cheapest I can find a red one is $129, and they are from all the dealer websites around the net.  There are none on ebay currently 

 

There is a brand new blue switch on ebay right now for 25.67 shipped

What does it take to change everything to blue?  I have a GMC but I would prefer the blue.  I wish they had a  screen to scroll through some colors.

I’ll sell my red switch at a loss to help someone get one.

I’ll do $90 shipped if that works.

I took the red radio/HVAC off and went to blue.

You’ll want to get a screen that has the Blue LEDs for the radio/HVAC controls and headlight switch.

I may have this setup available. Let me Power it up and confirm the LEDs.

No. The screen content itself will remain red as this pulls from the HMI. The backlit illumination is what we’re after here, will be blue.

Does this switch keep the lights on even when switching between high/low ? Sorry if this has already been answered
