Better get them chrome door handles and mirror caps to complete the look...

Dunno if those will overdo it with the chrome tbh, I'll just stick to a grille insert and chrome wheels.

Go with idea #2

Too many guys go with that black crap.

The only thing that looks good in black is the truck itself.

I went with Stainless steel steps , bed rails , exhaust tip and stainless steel trimmed mudflaps . And chrome 22's .No bull bar for me but if you want one go for it.

Put chrome wheels on it too.

This is all a matter of what you like too.

I'm old school. I'm old too.

Do you have to be old to be old school? I consider myself old school in a lot of things but I’m young. I also love the look of chrome on the truck (except overbearing chrome - like somebody that wraps their whole car in it :puke:)

No you don't have to be old to be old school. And you are correct about too much chrome. Makes me barf too .

Glad to see you get it.

It seems you’ve made up your mind on going with the chrome setup, but figured I’d throw out another idea in case you wanted it.

I’m a big fan of color matched / color contrast and no chrome. I’ve got the all terrain pack, which gave me color matched bumpers, then I continued the theme by removing all the factory chrome. I personally don’t like chrome, just not my “thing.”

Theres a blue SLT in the same color that runs around town here, and he color matched everything / tinted the windows. He went with a 2.5” level and black wheels, and I think it looks awesome.

At the end of the day, it’s your truck, do what makes you happy! Search the wheel / tire setup thread, and that can also help spark ideas of what to do with your truck.

Figured I'd update this with what I've done so far. Not everyones cup of tea I know but I love it so far and that's what counts.

Set of KMC Rockstar 2's

Borla GM Exhaust

Bakflip MK4 tonneau cover

Black mesh insert for front grille

Aeries 6" black running boards

Plastidip the emblems matte black next once the weather warms up.
