After the deep freeze we had in the upper Midwest last week, the passenger side window washer nozzle has stopped working. After the weekend thaw the drivers side worked fine, however the passenger side now only provides a little squirt of fluid and bubbles. Guessing the only way to diagnose is to remove the wiper cowl to inspect the hose for that side possibly replace the nozzle?  Anybody know how to remove the cowl and have any other ideas?

You are on the right track and it is likely a hose or nozzle problem. Remove the wiper arms and just look all the way down the cowl for the attaching screws. Its easy just don't scratch your hood taking the wiper arms off. Remove the nut for the arms then bend the arm where it is meant to flex and just rock it back and forth till it frees up, or you can use a battery terminal puller.

Been there, done that.

My guess is a plugged nozzle.

I take a piece of  women's nylon hose and affix it to the opening of the windshield fluid reservoir with zip ties.

Filters the fluid to prevent plugged nozzles.

I may not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but I like to think I'm at least an LED.

Is there any way to unclog the nozzle without dismantling the cowling and all to get at the hose? I tried poking around the nozzle holes with paper clip to no avail.

Holes are smaller than a paperclip, you can use a pin but you'll hog the whole sprayer out.

I took my 2019 GMC Sierra to the dealer right after I bout it, complaining that the spray was strong but only came up onto the bottom of the screen. No good at highway speeds. Went to another GM dealer and they said they can't be adjusted. Installed new nozzles under warranty and voila  same darned thing!

The easiest way to clear the clogged nozzle is to simply blow compressed air into the discharge side of the nozzle.  You will see washer fluid come out of the other nozzle if air is moving through the clogged nozzle.  It took about three cycles of blowing air then spraying washer fluid.  It works like new now.
