Most of you know you cant just swap the headunit and and amps wothout worrying about the chime issue and stuff. There is a place now that has found a real plug and play solution for adding amps while keeping the oem headunit

They have options for 4, 7 and 8" screen. Bose and non bose. 2 or 4ch out

Best one is NAV-TV. I have it. Its $850. But its perfect.  I use a single optical cable that goes to my jl hub and then another single optical to each amp. No rca wires. The best thing is that it wont amp your chimes. It only extracts audio from the stereo system.  If you do a system, do it once.... DO IT RIGHT...20180721_194332.thumb.jpg.55f7efa6104a1345a475e0ad472e9bc1.jpg

Only issue with the nave tv is it "for bose"  its 850 and if you have a non bose you have to buy their flashed radio module for another 200 and have the possibility of loosing car play/android auto.  They are hit or miss.  Ive talked ti a few people to who have the nav tv unit and they say its a hit or miss

Yeah. Not sure about non bose. And also not sure about the android auto. Since i had base and no android auto, i cant speak about those.

I spoke directly with nav tv and they told me the same thing. They also said "if it doesnt work send it back"  i also know 2 people with the module i posted with non bose and they say it does exactly what its supposed to do and who actually compete in sq.  So its the correct module for sure for vehicles without bose.  Not knocking the nav tv but its just not for me

Sorry meant to say Bose, not base..

And yes. Its alot of money for an adapter. That can be had cheaper. At the time of my purchase, it was the safest bet for me.

Has anyone used the plug and play on a 2019 with the base stereo (non-bose). I'm looking to add a sub to my truck and this seems like it may be the only option, or source to get the audio signal from.

Anybody make a pre-fab box for under the rear seats that fits the 2019?

Subthump usually has boxes.  Or better yet have one built for the sub of your choice

I checked their website. Only 2019 is the heritage edition or whatever it's called. I could have one customer built, but don't want to have to pay that much for one. My Ram box only cost me $80, so I already have the amp, 10" sub, and a box that fits a Ram. Hopefully someone builds one soon. I guess the trucks are still really new. Thanks for the response.
