Paulismydog Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Hi. I am trying to decide between these rims and some stock 18s. These are a +18 offset. Do any of you running +18 experience much gravel fling chipping on side of your trucks. I apologize for posting a photo of a Ford on this forum. Couldn't find an example of these rims on our truck. Thanks. Bob
Chebbyfan Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 I have +18s on mine. I have a few smaller chips down low, but I have steps and I think they help deflect most of the rocks.

Big Whiskey Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 I've got a very similar setup to Chebbyfan. Mine are 17x9 with +18 offset. My tires are only 285mm wide, which helps. And, I've got N-fab steps with factory GM mud flaps too. Once in a while, I'll hear a rock go zinging off my steps while going down the road, but the side of my truck is basically chip-free. I've got a couple little ones behind the rear tires, between the mud flaps and the bumper, but that's about it. Pics in my build thread if you're interested.
