V6 TUNERS

I have a 2017 sbdc 4x4 Sierra with the 4.3l v6. I've leveled it with a rough country kit.  But as of right now, running stock size tires but will be going to a 33-34" tire. It has 3.42 gears and isnt and probably wont be underpowered. I plan to recalibrate the speedometer but in doing so, figuring it's just as well to tune the ECM/TCM. So anyone with the v6 running a trifecta, Vermont, black bear, diablo tune on your trucks. And have any input? Was it noticeable, do you run premium or see gains on regular? Good or bad for fuel mileage? My truck is a daily driver but does see some off road and work.

I have tried the Hypertech and Superchips on my 4.3 v6

Running premium fuel you will only get 8-10 horse and 10-14 ft torque. Regular fuel only 5 horse 7 ft torque.

If you want more power and can get e85 the factory rates e85 at 12 horse and 25 ft torque over regular fuel. Running e85 makes a noticeable difference.

With the superchips it does feel like it has more power down low. I don't like the Superchips 2-3 gear shift. To hard in my opinion.

I didn't notice much difference in fuel mileage.

Diablo, Edge and Superchips are owned by Powertech. Assuming their tunes are all the same as they rate the power levels the same.

E85 isnt an option in my area. So it's straight gas for me. I'm wary of the superchip... if it's just the one you plug into the obd2 port and leave it. But good to know that the difference was noticeable.
