Cannot Locate Information LTZ Lights

I have been hovering around this forum recently , without being a member, and found very helpful information. Finally decided to join, ask for help, and hopefully help others in the future. I am new to owning a 2016 Silverado 1500 Z71 LT. As stated prior,  I have referenced this forum on knowledge of LT to LTZ headlight conversions. The issue I am having is what I would have assumed to be the simplest task of all. GM part numbers / information. I cannot confirm 16 - 18 LTZ headlight part numbers anywhere. The ones I have come across deviate between sites. I understand the hyperflash issue, I understand there are individuals on here that sell harnesses with resistors inline. I understand the value and styling difference between the lights. I just can't find a definitive part number for Right & Left 2016 Silverado 1500 LTZ (LED) Headlights. Or even definitive LT part numbers,  so I know what to compare it to. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I have been provided a quote by two local GM dealers and the numbers differ,  the numbers on GMparts also don't coincide..... you would think this would be a simple task.

I greatly appreciate this information. Do you mind me asking where this was gathered? Not trying to be picky, but I am looking for painted or prepped for paint/ primed rather than chrome. was given the following from a local dealer:

84388728

84388727

And the GM Part Store is all over the place. Same as Courtesy Chevy, looking up the part number provided by my dealer show what resembles a saturn ion, or Colorado style headlight.

I also provided my dealer with a VIN from an LTZ on their lot and received the two numbers on the quote above. It's honestly kind of crazy to me that so many different numbers exist for this item. I greatly appreciate any and all responses,  but so far, if anything,  it has made the part numbers even more questionable. Might they have differing numbers for each year , even though they are the same light / housing? Is there a wattage difference between the 3 LTZ (LED) years?

One item of note. Many times when a parts guy pulls a p/n from the catalog it changes when they look for the price or availability. So the numbers I got could have changed even though they are current in the catalog. Take my numbers to a dealer to see if they are current.

Thank you. I will return to both dealers, and attempt with a new LTZ vin I received and compare with the (2) you have provided. This is all odd to me , as with many previous vehicle builds (non GM) , I have never had this issue of difficulty obtaining a part number.

Beautiful , thank you. Off chance,  why would this ever be neccessary? What benefit is there to having multiple numbers for the identical product,  or revolving numbers as availability is searched? Luckily I came across a great deal for the LTZ (LED) tails and they are in transit. Hopefully I can move forward with one of my local dealers on headlights. I was waiting to see if I could find them for a better price,  but with the possible confusion in part numbers still leading to a potentially bad purchase on GM Parts , etc. I guess I will be sticking with dealer MSRP. Also , if I mistakenly stated anything about a 2014, my apologies,  I'm running a 2016 1500 Z71 LT. Thank you again for your time. I have one last question that I will verify once the items are received to hopefully help others. Is there no OEM Part # / Cat # / Identification code or number on the reverse side of the headlight and taillight housings?

That I don't know. Sometimes GM has p/n's on parts, sometimes not. Part number changes are often related to supplier changes when the actual part doesn't really change. As far as the number of head lights, there are l and r, led, hid, halogen, different years, paint to match and chrome. And I'm probably missing an option or two. I did find a GM reman, led paint to match but left only.

Yikes, 2k for a headlight upgrade.  Hopefully you are finding them for a much better deal than that!

    • Yes, and also pulling heavy trailers or a large camper up steep grades as well as descending grades such as the more rustic off road camping locations and using engine braking with that low gearing as well as soft ground can just suck the power . I realize pickups these days tend to have an over all lower first gear ratio compared to automatic transmission pickups from years back so that has helped a lot in its ability in high range but there comes a point if in four wheel drive the torque runs out at the wheels, certainly with a gas engine. They don't put two speed transfer cases on pickups for a cool factor, they have a function if one needs that massive torque to the wheels that high range can't deliver.
    • Notes 7/18/2026   3,400 miles on this batch of Mobil 1 Euro 5W40 since the GDI pump replacement. Alcohol runs very clean when ring seal is tight and the sump isn't getting hosed with fuel. Checked oil level at fill up today as is my practice and grabbed a white Kleenex to look at the color. What color?  I was going to change it but.....
    • 4 low is really nice on steep boat ramps.
    • Interesting, I suspect I would have fueled up in Lee Vining as the day prior I would have filled up either in Laughlin or near there and maybe again before I entered Death Valley and once out the other side late that evening as I kept on driving into the night up near Lee Vining. Next morning I most likely fueled up in LV before heading over Tioga Pass into ( as I refer to it as "Yose .... Mite" 😁 ). And again that was 19 years ago but the price then must not have jumped out at me like the 5 bill a gallon theme of nutty cult hippy country Big Sir or head so far up their rear Aspen. I'd be curious to know where the highest prices are in the lower 48, I probably would not be far off to guess somewhere in Cali forn ie. Coldfoot and Prudhoe bay may have those prices beat but that is a whole other world up there and when prices are more normal elsewhere that is about what they can be up there I believe in no mans land. Anyway interesting that the 395 corridor is hosing people and the thing is, its tourist season and its not like there are a lot of competition options when driving up that highway from what I could see. Yup, big ole Boaterhomes and various other RV's ahead and behind me at the Yosemite entrance gate and they have to get their fuel somewhere.
    • Those can be high, as well as the big California cities. The ones that will pop your eyes out are the 395 corridor on the Eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas. Lee Vining, $7.19 for regular and $8.89 for diesel is what the Google said right now.
