I didn't no if you could help me out I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado k1500 350 5.7 o can crank it but no fire I have done alot to it to fix if your able to help out maybe with new suggestions I'm all ears thanks in advance

At that age, Fuel pump, ECU, as these parts wear. Like other said start by checking the fuel pressure.

It that's good verify spark 

 

The ECU's have capacitors they have a life span of 10 years as they tend to dry out over time.

 

Then go from there.

Need more info. 

 

My 1997 K1500 is on its 3rd fuel pump at 209k. Have not heard of ECU failing but I know GM had a bad run of windshield wiper circut boards (cold solider that cracks, I just reflowed mine and its good) and ABS controller modules.

 

Test fuel pressure with a gauge, I think Orelly's or Autozone will rent you one.

 

Key on not cranking, engine off, fuel pressure should be 60psi. If its lower than 55 then replace fuel filter (easy) and pump (not fun).

Pull a vacuum line somewhere past the MAF, and squirt some brake clean or propane  in there, and see if she runs for  a second - that will confirm spark & compression, indicating a fuel problem.
