What do you think about this leveling option ?

What are these Bilstein 6112 coil overs I’m reading about? Better than a level?

They’re just cheaper resi’s. I put my hands on a set, it’s not as high quality as a CST, King, Fox. I wasn’t impressed with the build quality, found plastic was injected inside from the bottom of the the resi’s keeping the pressure in. The guys at the off-road shop said the Bilsteins are intro performance shocks and these are the same but with cheaply done resi’s.

I saw the oops...so these 6112 or even the 5160...better than a average RC 2.25 level??

Look at the black molded plastic insert on the bottom of the resi’s

The 6112 is what I’m curious about, just trying to educate myself. I realize my 2.25 RC level is not the optimum way to go but you know my issues so I’m just trying to learn.

The Bilstein 6112 Kit for GM Trucks is like the ever elusive Bigfoot.

They are known to exist but proof of them is few and far between!

The 6112 shock was introduced back in 2015 and still not stocked today.

Funny thing is, you can get them for the 2015 and up Tahoe, Yukon and Suburban but not a GM 1500 K2 truck.

I think someone finally shot a Bigfoot...

I did Bilstein 5100s at the 3rd setting, and continental terraincontact tires, 275/60r20 on the factory rims, no offsets, and a 1" block in the back. It rides pretty good, and I do not rub. I was rubbing with the 275/60R20s and the factory shocks (just slightly on the wheel well liner). I have a 2015 LTZ Z71, came stock with the rancho shocks, and I'm pretty sure my control arms are steel.
