Remote services issue

Anyone have an issue with remote services? Just got back from a business trip and locked my keys in my truck (as I’ve done countless times)... tried the app and a phone call to unlock.  The advisor said the truck goes to sleep after two days and the receiver no longer is powered on.  Stuck sleeping at the office now.

My '14 GMC has sat for at least 4 days and I use the app on my cell phone to remote start and unlock the truck.

 

I have OnStar services.

Sometimes that just happens. I can be away from the truck for 3 days and the remote services stop working. Then I can be gone for 2weeks and it still works. Now when it stopped working I called onstar and they just reset or sent a signal to the truck and it started working again.

i have done it countless times over 2 days.  Literally used to do it every business trip, but when i called onstar the automated signal didn't work.  then the adviser sent a signal and that too didn't work and that's when he told me about it going to sleep.  Not really sure how that's beneficial in anyway.
