2019 GMC Sierra Denali

My infotainments system updated to version 800 this week.

Ever Since then, every time I get in the truck a message pops up in the screen in front of the steering wheel that says "You are Driver #1".

Because I am the only drive and this did not use to happen, I would like it to stop.

Its tied to the remote/key you are using. Use the other one and you're #2.  All the setting are keyed to the remote.  I doubt it can be turned off, its something the update set as default.  If you use key #2, all your radio stations, mirror and seat seating will be what was programed for Driver #2, likely factory defaults.

Why is my 2024 Silverado not showing which driver I am upon entry? I want to use the Seat Entry Memory feature but it’s not working. I’m guessing it’s something to do with the vehicle not showing which driver I am? The key fob works perfectly locking and unlocking and remote starting. ???

Have you enabled the seat memory features in settings?

There are a bunch of auto features than can be enabled/disable/modified in the trucks settings.

If you use the same fob everyday it's not going to say anything. The only time mine says something is when I use the spare keys to move my truck. It will say you are driver 2. Then when I use my regular set again it will say you are driver 1. After I dismiss the message a few times it won't come back again till I use the spare set.
