Infotainment Brightness

I just bought a 2021 Silverado custom with the 7" infotainment display and not only is the camera super bright at night but also the regular screen is as well when I'm driving down the road unless I set the brightness all the way to minimum. Even at minimum the radio display is brighter than my instrument cluster

I just got a used 2019 Silverado RST z71 seem to be having the same issue, but did not notice it till i was on a dark 2 lane country road, had turn my dash so far down to get the screen to dim so i could see, when I back on the highway the next night the dash was so dim i almost could not see it. I'm surprised that that screen does not have fine tuner for the brightness to adjust it to your liking. have had that option in other rides

yeah would be nice to turn down the infotainment unit brightness independent of the dash.

my 2016 subaru has a fine tune +/- for it screen, not sure why trucks at this price point don't have these basic options
