Crew,

I've read through all the threads I can find on here and I'm just not seeing a solid answer to what I want to know...a lot of guys with good suggestions, opinions, and theory's but nothing telling me exactly what I want to know.

On a 2019 Sierra AT4 what is the biggest tire size you've seen used without rubbing anywhere and with zero trimming on the stock wheels. 33? 34? 35?

I'm not looking for any aftermarket wheels or any modification. Just simply stocks wheels and stock setup. Pictures or tire name brand and size would be awesome. I'll return the favor when I get my truck in the next week or so!

Thanks!

I also investigated this thoroughly before making my decision.

I have stock 18 inch wheels with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/18, no lift or level. They are exactly 34 inches in diameter inflated. I went with that tire as a better all round tire for what I was looking for which included weight. They are only 59 pounds. They look great, fill out the wheel well, and relatively quiet compared to Mud Terrain tires. There is something to be said for unsprung weight and inertia.

There is plenty of room b/w the tire and the mud flap & felt behind the front tire; right at a whole inch with the wheel turned and the tire at its closest to the felt. I would feel completely comfortable putting some 35/12.5/18's on there. The BFG TA KO2 is what I had initially wanted. They are 34.5 inches in diameter, but are up to 68 pounds. that size is only 0.25 inches more radius, and there is more than enough room for that. I'll post some pics in a bit to show you.

There is a fellow on here with a black AT4 that put Accele MT-01 on stock 20 inch rims with no level . They are also 34.5/12.5 inches (like the BFG), and he had no rubbing at all. He had modified the mud flaps, but said was unnecessary.

Theres another guy with a red truck that has 34.6 that rubs a little.

I had the same question and had been hoping drew’s Exact tire would work.  So when I saw his post on another thread last week I was thrilled. Yes one could go a tad bigger but at a huge weight expense

now if I could just get my truck to arrive at the dealer...been ‘in transit’ since April 3... driving me insane

drew, what kind of gas mileage are you seeing with those tires? 6.2?

I honestly have not been paying attention to the gas mileage. Yes, 6.2. The exhaust sounds so good, that I suspect my right foot is affecting the mileage more than the tires....

@Drew03Z Got any more pics...your truck looks sweet with the ridge grapplers. Close up of the wheels and front/back pics if possible

I called the tire store today to get the ridge grapplers in 285/70 18...they said they could get them but the price was through the roof on them. He he happen to have a mis-ordered set of 285/75 18 ridge grapplers for a steal so I am going to try them and see if they work. I'll post pics Saturday once they are on  provided there are no issues. If there is any rubbing or trimming needed I'll be ordered a different size.
