We all know why their lawyers are trying to come up with excuses why these pumps have been grenading and causing accidents.

 

CEO bonuses ain’t cheap. You will bail them out after the Class Actions bankrupt GM again.

So its not like the brakes are going to just fail and you can't stop. The hydraulic brake system remains functional. Its only a firmer pedal "feel".

 

It goes on to explain that you can bring it in for service if you believe your truck exhibits this behavior.

I had the software updated under recall a few months ago.  The brakes would BARELY work at slow speeds over the weekend.  I am not an expert on the federal motor vehicle safety standards, but if almost crashing into garage doors, vehicles, and pedestrians is okay, maybe they need to rewrite their standards.  I read that excerpt from that standards, also, and thought it was an amazing statement. 

 

My vacuum pump was replaced, under the extended warranty, yesterday...
