Mylink android auto upgrade

Hey all,

 

I read another post about updating intellilink to mylink Tb 16-NA-042.

I'm trying to see if it is possible to have mylink or android auto added to my 2014 Sierra with an 8" screen. None of the dealerships have heard of this.

Thanks! So the dealer doesnt have to do this without it throwing codes?

The dealer won't do it at all.  If it's not in their manual they won't do it.

So my rpo code says i06. That link says it upgrades to i05?

You'll have to talk to them . I didn't do it. I've just seen it mentioned. I have a 2016 with factory aa/cp. The 2014/15 hmi is different and cannot be reprogrammed to have it. You need to replace the hmi.
