2020 3.0 Duramax

just womdering if if anyone has ordered a 2020 3.0 Duramax yet? I plan on ordering one in November. Looking at LTZ premium.  I didn’t know if dealers were accepting the orders for the Duramax or are they restricted..For me, the mpg looks great. I am hoping these new half tons can handle a one car hauler and and street rod/ Camaro/ tractor without squatting too much. Coming my from 2002 PowerStroke. Tired of the bouncing buggy ride.

I haven't heard of orders being taken yet. The EPA has a backlog of diesel vehicles to certify and it's holding a lot of new diesels up.

Nice to see them using an inline-6 design. Should be really smooth with the 10-speed.

I checked with a Chevy fleet dealer yesterday and he said I could not order yet as truck hasn’t been cleared to order ( he implied emissions certification). I was surprised as the GMC retail dealer told me last week they could order with delivery in around eight weeks. I could have ordered  the SLE crew diesel 4x4 with the preferred package for 46k with applicable rebates at delivery. Was too high for me. I told the Chevy dealer and he said the “8 weeks” answer is salesman bs. He they were just going to hold the order until they could place it and he will call me when deliveries start to be scheduled.
