Bass -12 mid +7 treble +7 but I have the Kicker  sub, I set it up with pink noise and a real time analyzer. I use the Kicker sub control to adjust bass for the type music. The Bose sub totally sucks.

Bass 3-5
Mids 0-5
Treble Always Max

Bose is very disappointing. Can’t wait until I add my JL sub. I might even bypass the whole thing and start from scratch. But I’m more picky about audio than most.

The Bose mids and highs are not as bad as stock and once you get rid of the damn Bose sub it sounds much better. I think one of the things most of us hate and don’t know it is the automatic noise reduction ANR, there are mics all around the inside of the truck that listen for noise and then generate opposite phase frequency sound waves to cancel the sounds. There is an easy way to turn the damn thing off on the 2018, I contacted the maker he does not know if it will work on the 19 yet. It is a simple plug that is about $25 on Amazon. I have read it makes a big difference. Anyone know where the Bose amp is, I have heard behind the back seat and in the console. No garage to damn hot to tear the truck apart in the sun.

Wow that was really helpful not sure if you are an audio engineer or an idiot. My Bose with the Kicker sub is not bad working on making it better instead of making stupid generalized statements that help no one. Thanks for sharing.

I’m def an idiot. I spent almost 4 g’s on SunDown Audio stereo equipment because I hated the sound of the Bose. I don’t know what I’m talking about. Kicker sucks too. Thought I’d share that stupid generalized statement also.

If you spent $4000 on a stereo yup you are an idiot, the ability to waste money does not make you intelligent, educated or an audiophile, just an idiot. By the way I am an audio engineer.

OMG. I’m just a big fukn idiot. What am I gonna do with the rest of my money? Maybe I’ll send it to Mountain Goat so he can buy more Kicker garbage components from K Mart. Your a joke dude. Next time you decide to call someone an idiot for having an opinion you don’t agree with and doing what I want, with my money, look in the mirror. By the way, you’re so cool for being an audio engineer. Boooooring. Your probably a lefty liberal. Take your boom mic and shove it up your ass. Peace

Children!! why cant' we have a constructive conversation here? I would like to get some tips or things that have worked for others. I wish I had 4k to spend on my audio sys but I don't ( I would though if I had it) I do agree the Bose in my 2020 RST is really not up to par. I just sat in a friends 2025 Ram Warlock and it makes mine sound like a transistor radio ( for you young guys that's what we had in the 60s. Anyway any suggestions' on what will help these rear speakers?

    • You're better read than that Atlas. 😏   British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated three adages that are known as Clarke's three laws, of which the third law – that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" – is the best known and most widely cited.   Stribeck and the pivotable Hersey Number isn't voodoo nor snake oil. That part is physics. It's what marketing and bean counters do with it that is snake oil and voodoo.    Stribeck is the relationship between Hersey and the Coefficient of Friction. Within the Hersey Equation if viscosity and viscosity is 'Dependent' on.......heat.......and.......viscosity index or the temperature to viscosity slope.    Specifically Hersey is the viscosity AT THE TEMPERATURE IN THAT LOCATION FOR THAT SLOPE.   Hydrodynamic lubrication exist when the film thickness in the location is 3X the Ra roughness of the surface. This is irrespective of the hardness of the substrate. To obtain that thickness X viscosity is required for Y velocity at Z load. That's a lot of moving parts. It is also impossible to maintain in an ICE but nearly possible with a turbine under constant load.    What does that mean? Error heavy and operate light. Wear is inevitable but the rate of wear and the milage obtainable are a function of prevailing conditions and HABITS. The only penalty is viscous drag and at fractions so low as to be well worth the effort. Double the life, half the manufacturing carbon foot print. Greed is the only impediment.    The materials generated by SwRI are the RESULT not an estimation or a hypothesis.    Don't delude yourself sir, EV's have as many pitfalls as ICE's. We just don't know what they are yet and it will take longer to sort as MARKETING and GREEDY CEO's have had more time to polish the turd they are selling.
    • You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
    • Diesel hit $6.00 here today at the truck stop.   Payed $2.79 for E85 today too.
