TEhrman Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 2011 Silverado 5.3 Had this happening intermittent for a while, but now it’s constant over the last 3 or so days. The ABS and Traction Control lights are on, and stay on, from starting, putting into gear, driving, always. Service Stabilitrak and Service Traction Control displays. I’ve been searching and looking and found every possible solution from water in fuel to loose battery connection to throttle position sensor to brake light sensor. Already changed the fuse, which would have been the easy fix. Anyone have any ideas or similar issue? Trying to avoid the rabbit hole of trying everything.
diyer2 Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Good battery? I would check all grounds. Do the easy stuff and go from there. Unless you have a good scanner you will be trying everything.
riverbanks Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 A code should be present, have it scanned, there are 3 sensors for drive by wire, one is not giving proper info, also the wire harness at throttle body is a problem on some,at the 90 degree bend,I think I have the right year for that issue?
tbarn Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Scan, scan, scan. You can't possibly know where to start without scanning it.
