I've been looking for Towing Mirrors for my new 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 and finally found these on etrailer.  I think they just started stocking them.  I ordered a set and will post up a review when i get them.

I had the CIPA version on my '09 Silverado and was quite pleased with them other than they looked like sh*t.

Please let us know how they work out.

Thanks.

I went ahead and ordered a pair. Saw they had a delivery date of Oct. 9th. We're heading out on our 1st trip with the new truck the 11th. Hopefully they get here on time.

They just sent me an email saying the same thing about my order:  “Our shipment of custom towing mirrors has not yet arrived from the manufacturer. I checked with them for an update, and they let me know that our shipment has been slightly delayed, but we should be receiving them the week of October 07.

hurry up n wait.

GM tow mirrors should be available on the 2020s any day now. I’m hoping all the correct wiring is there so I can put on my 2019

That was my initial plan, but those mirrors will probably cost at least $800 apiece (retraction motors, tilt/adjust, dimming feature, puddle lights, camera).  I'll see how the $75 a pair clip on ones work, plus all those features will still be there.

Worked fine on my '09.

I understand that not all trucks have all those features,  but it's still going to cost a lot.

I ordered those same mirror extensions from JEGS.  they said they had them in stock. Then it instantly went to back order with no ETA.  I think everyone is in the same boat.

BTW JEGs is only $53.

I just got my 2019. I asked about towing mirrors, and he said the mirrors from the 2020 would fit. You need to buy the mirrors and a special harness. He showed me a work order from someone else who had them installed at the dealership. $1500 CAD installed... which sucks because they are a $250 option on a new build.

Anyway, part numbers are: 84731239 for the mirror kit ($861 CAD), and the harness was 84622372 ($170CAD). The work order showed two of the harness. $120 labour.

Google shows them here: https://accessories.gmc.com/product/extended-view-tow-mirrors-in-black-84731239?year=2020&make=GMC&model=Sierra 1500&categoryId=98023 But from this image I don't see the blind spot alert indicator, so I wonder if that would be lost.

Though these K Source ones are nice. They don't look like a frankensteined solution, and I don't need huge mirrors for the 95% of the time that I am not towing.  Can someone confirm if they cover up the cameras on the mirrors?

I don't know that anyone has actually received them yet. But the pictures I've seen certainly show that the lights and cameras are not covered.  This site (expensive)

https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Towing-Mirrors/GMC/Sierra+1500/2020/KS80930.html?VehicleID=202098912#exp-productdetails=.all-description

has four views (lower left).

And I agree with you about the 95%. I drove my sons 2500 and was shocked by how large the blind spot created by the mirrors was.

I made a thread about the GM mirrors.  At the moment they do not fit the 2019, only 2020+up.

RE the KSource 80930 mirrors in the OPs initial post: Having ordered (Jegs) in August I was getting a bit concerned. I found a customer support link on the KSource website and asked two questions:

1) We've had Part number : 80930 on order since September. Is there an expected ship date?

2) Are the OEM mirror cameras functional while these are attached? (An eTrailer employee posted that they were not)

Answeres:

1-      Our ETD is early or mid January.

2-      Your OEM’s camera will be functional. Our snap & Zap comes with a cut on the bottom for those type of mirrors.

I'll add that I got a response in a couple hours.  Nice service!

That's better than the response I received from e-trailer when I asked them about the cameras.  Was on hold for about 15 min and they told me they did cover the cameras.  I'm curious to see how much of a cutout there is as the lip on the front of mirror looks like it would block some of the visibility of the camera.
