Touch up paint

Where's the best place to pick up some touch up paint in the pen/brush style? Dealer or online? If online, what/where do you recommend? Received a rock chip on the hood last road trip and need to touch it up.

The GM touch up pen works great. I got mine at the dealer.

Amazon sells most current GM colors for about the same price as the dealer. Delco doesn't make the pasint anyway probably packed for the by the same manufacturer as Duplicolor.

 

One exception - Don't expect the Tri-coat White alone to achieve a paint match - it's more like thin milky iridescent snot - needs a base coat of Summit White first followed by the Tri-coat and then clear coat to finish for a perfect match.

I've used automotivetouchup.com for years on several vehicles with a perfect OEM match. They're down the road in New Orleans. Available in bottles, pens and aerosol. Site has informative videos as well. Use paint code as paint name can vary i.e. on the '19 blue GM uses 3 names; Deep Ocean, Pacific Blue and Some Kinda Blue. Some painted parts from GM will say Some Kinda Blue. You will be very satisfied with this touch up paint.
