I have a vauktek bedside. It's an amazing safe. I may need to look into one for the ole truck [emoji16]

Yup me too. Had it for years. Never had an issue and battery lasts forever.

two magnets...one in the center console...one under the steering wheel, more towards the right side as im right handed. I wont preach gun law or safety....your an adult, do what you want but for me this is an option to have my firearm with me and accessible. why, where, when, how you carry a firearm needs to be tailored to you and ur routine. what i have described fits mine...when i need it.

I used the magnet in my center console but during the summer it lost its adhesive and fell off.  Was thinking about putting a magnet inside the slot beside the center console but I am afraid it will just slide off there.  Don't really want to drill holes to mount it.

i drilled holes...they are small and inconspicuous. main issue is that if i grab my gun...i don't want the magnet coming with it.

This! Simply use a drill bit to start the holes that is smaller than the screw that comes with the magnet.  I placed my magnet under the steering column near my right knee.  I can grip and rip it a lot quicker than going in the console.

In the map pocket by my right leg. Jerry rigged a piece of kydex to cover it up so you can’t see it. But it is still easily accessible

That safe console is disgusting and I seriously hope whoever created that realizes this. If I wanted a big ass box in my center console I coulda just made it out of plywood lmfao
