First post, so bare with me here guys. Dropped the transmission in my 08 silverado 4.8l 2wd broadcast code 8LFD (tan color connector 15pin). Truck is on its last legs looking to get one more year out of the old girl. With that being said I want to keep the capital invested down. In doing so i'm gonna put in a used tranny in. Found a 2011 one with the broad cast code 1LPD( tan color 17 pin). The question I have is will this match up or will have issues? I"ve tried researching online but have come up short. I know going from 13 vs 15 pin connector has to do with the ISS(input speed sensor) and will work, but nothing so far on 15 vs 17pin connector.
