Costco Deal

Has anyone checked what kind of deal you can get going through Costco?  I started to fill out the form, but I figure dealers will start calling, and I'm not to the point of wanting to deal with them.  Looking for a 2020 with the 6.6, in the LT trim.  Sticker they way I want it is about $53, hoping it get under $45.

I used the Costco program to negotiate an even better deal a few months back when they had a promo on buying an Audi. Worked out well in finding a participating dealer but in the end I got 15% off MSRP . Just my experience with Costco auto program.

Heard lots of good things about Costco program.  Never done it myself but would consider it if I ever decided to buy a new vehicle again (which I won't)

Here is my experience.  I filled out the Costco form for some other brand and only got an email inviting me to come in to the dealership.  The names of 3 salesmen were listed as a contact.  That was well over a month ago and still no calls, just a couple of follow up emails.  Costco will only have one dealership in an area and just a few salesmen so any contacts will be limited.  I guess it depends on the dealership on how aggressive they get.

If the Costco deal is supplier pricing, just get copy of invoice on prospective vehicle and have salesman show you the supplier pricing line.  Combine with any incentives and if you don't want hassle of shopping multiple dealers you can be done.  That is not likely to be your best deal, however.  But it is simple.

i did the costco program on my 2020 d max and i got a total of about 8300 off msrp including the $700 giftcard from costco

I got an email that you had to be a member prior to Oct 1.  I haven't checked back to see if there was a way around it.

you can also get supplier pricing if you or someone in  your HH is an educator
