Windshield washer spray pattern

I bought a new 2019 GMC Sierra. I love it so far. One issue is that the windshield washers only spray about 10 inches up. I'm used to other cars covering the wind screen so it works at highway speeds too. Took it to the dealer and was told there is no adjustment able to be done. Went to a dealer in another town who replaced the washer nozzles under warranty, saying things were good to go! First time I tried them, exactly the same thing. Totally useless in removing dirt and bugs. Any suggestions? I don't wish to monkey around and screw up warranty.

I have to say my 19 Silverado covers the whole windshield.

Sometimes takes a bit of spraying but mine covers the whole windshield even at highway speeds. .........any idiot tailgaiting me too.

 

Surprised a dealer was foolish enough to waste the effort even replacing a part that wasn't defective. Guess it is just the serious problems where they tell you to pound sand.

So, does any owner know if the washer spray pattern can be adjusted? The replacement set does the same as the first. My dealer says it's the way it should be. On previous vehicles, I have always been able to adjust up and down.

The spray on my '04 Sierra also isn't adjustable.  The passenger side pattern isn't too bad, but the driver's side is too low on the window, so I need to spray a bunch extra and use the runoff from the passenger side to do the upper part of the driver's side...

I wonder if you have a kink in a hose somewhere or a bad washer fluid pump.

Better try a different dealer.  Sounds like a kink or pump problem.

After reading this I tested mine at a stop.  It sprayed very good up to about 10 inched from the top.  The wipers pulled all the fluid up to the top and worked great.  I'm sure as I'm moving more will go towards the top.
