2019 6.2 10 speed goes 13.87 @ 100.31

Yes, my 15 shut off at 98. This new truck the limiter must be higher because it didn't shut off before the end of the quarter. Maybe because of the 10 speed. The DA when I ran 13.73 in the 15 was less than 200 ft. the DA on the 19 was over 1600 ft.

That's quite the diff in atmosphere, but I would have thought the new style almost 500lb lighter trucks would be a bit quicker.

I was hoping it would be too. I haven't weighed the new truck yet, but the 2015 weighed 5735 lbs. at Gateway dragstrip during Dragweek with the spare tire removed and 1/4 tank of gas. Of course I added twin turbos with an intercooler, a topper and bed rug. The new truck had a half tank of gas with the spare tire removed. I was in the truck when it was weighed also. I weigh around 180. If I can find some scales I will weigh the new truck to see what the difference really is.

I've not had my truck to the track yet, but using a Dashawk my truck ran 13.8? at 101 with about a full tank of gas.  I know not the most accurate but I at least have an idea.  That's with 1" taller tires and the speedo not corrected, so actually it's a little bit more that a 1/4.

Can you tell much difference with the tune?

No, not really.  It's only an engine tune for whatever advertised gain. No tune for transmission.   The main reason I got the tuner was for eliminating the top speed governor.  I think a good transmission tune would really wake this thing up.   I have not sent anything to Lew the Diablo tuner guy for any better engine tuning yet either, but the trans can not be tuned by him yet either.  A place about an hour away can tune the trans but it's about $1300, not really worth it to me at this point.

I know it's a long way to drive, but Advanced Modern Performance just outside Dallas tuned my engine and transmission for $750 and did an outstanding job. After I put the turbos on I took it to a place in Kansas City and had it tuned. It ran like crap shifted weird and kept throwing engine codes. I took it back but it wasn't any better. I guess you get what you pay for. That's why I took it to AMP. Didn't have to go back and runs and shifts great.

I think the place by me will do a good job.   Unfortunately the ‘17-‘18s are more expensive to tune.

Look up CAT Scales and put in your zip code.  Most truck stops have them, $10 for two weighs.
