Are you going to PPF the sides of the trucks to stop the rock chips or put on flares?

Sad thing about doing gears is that it will costs you an insane amount of money just to re-calibrate the computer correctly. And that's on top of the cost for new gears.

Can’t stand flares. But I have new fenders ordered. Hoping they only take the quoted two weeks to be made and shipped Then I’ll have them painted and put them on. They have a 3 inch bulge so should cover the tires well. And again not overly concerned on gears for the time being. The 8 speed honestly seems to shift better with the larger tires that stock

lapoolboy I really appreciate your opinion. I remember when I shat on your truck??

anyhow, if anyone wants more specs or pictures just let me know. I will add, that I am running 2 inch wheel spacers in all of the pictures. These trucks are just way too skinny from the factory.

I’m working on a project to do a 6” front and 4” rear and want to go 35” tires (Either 295/65r20 or maybe 35x?) if possible on stock wheels. What tires are in these pictures? What if any issues did you have with rubbing, and did you run any wheel offsets? With the lift I’m planning it kicks the front wheels out about .25” and was going to run 1.5” wheel spacers to clear spindles/links, etc... Which puts me at about a -28 offset and was wondering what kind of rubbing issues I’m going to run into. Thanks for any insight.

6.5” front and 4” rear is actually level. Ideal would be 6” front and 4.5” rear if I can find them. If not might do 5” rear to leave some rake. That’s not the point of my original question though thanks for pointing that out...

with that setup, you should have no problem running 35's

I guess I didn’t pose my question clearly. 1. What  make and exact size are the 35” tires shown on the stock wheels? and 2) with those tires and 2” wheel spacers how much rubbing/trimming is required with a 6” lift? Thanks.

To answer your question in all the pics I’m running the 6” rc lift all the way around as it comes with the addition of 2” drop shackles and 1/2” front top strut spacers as well as 2” wheel spacers on all 4 corners. That setup on 35’s is 35 12.5 20 on factory rims. The new wheels are 37 13.5 on tis 944’s 20x12 with -44 offset. The 35 setup barely brushed the felt fender liner. The 37s rub the bumper and fender lightly at full turn. This is why I’m doing the glass fenders and bumper spacing.
