MGP Caliper Covers

I added these MGP Caliper Covers to my Black Friday order at Summit Racing.  I installed them this weekend on my 2019 Custom Trailboss.

 

They install super easy and add a bit more of that accent red to the truck.  Thought I would share if anyone has seen them and wondered if they work.

 

The front clearance is very close. Roughly 1/4".

 

Pretty spendy for a "glamor cover", but to each his own...

I have only had them on one day, but I don't foresee any problems. Clearance in the front would be my biggest concern,

Looks great on the black truck! Matches the factory theme very well.

They last as long as the truck. Had them on my last two vehicles since 2012.

I’m trying to decide whether I should paint the current stock calipers or go with the red covers for my black RST. 
 

Does anyone have any photos of stock wheels with painted calipers or caliper covers?

The G2 paint kit is less than $55 on Amazon. It works good and looks better than the plastic covers. You can tell the covers are plastic as soon as you see them. But to each his own.

The MGP caliper covers are actually powder coated aluminum, not plastic. They are $250. That being said I ordered them red and custom with the Z71 logo in black. I’ll post pics after I install them.

That is bad then. To me they look like the fake plastic ones. Again, get what makes you happy. I myself think painting factory calipers looks better. Ones painted from the factory look even better.
