2WD Silverado or Sierra

It's been a while since I bought a new truck (2006 LT 2WD Silverado LQ9) and while doing a build and price on GM's site I found that I can't seem to be able to price out a High Country or similar GMC with two wheel drive.  I don't need or want a four wheel drive truck.  Am I doing something wrong?

I was just able to do a dummy build for a RWD High Country. 
 

However, if you want the 6.2L, it looks like you will need to get a 4x4.

Thanks for the reply.  I'll have to stop in at a dealer to see what options I have.

I thought it was because the 10 speed is only compatible with 4x4. But then again the HC gets the 10 speed with the 5.3, so maybe that's not it.

I'd think that since you're in Canada, you'd want 4WD.

No 2WD High Country or Denali in Canada. Here in the States you can get both in 2WD with the 5.3 or the 3.0 diesel. Diesels get the 10-speed, while 2WD 5.3s still use the 8-speed for 2020.
