2019 Silverado running cable through firewall

Hey friends, I'd like to run some cables through firewall. I can see there are 2 grommet located at the passenger and driver side and they have plastic nipples on it. Does anyone ever run cable though these main grommet? and how did you guys do that? did you use electrical snake? should I remove any parts under dashboard to reach out the interior side of the grommet? Thanks.

I ran some wires for my ham radio and a CB thru the grommets on my 08, 05, and 13.  Once I confirmed there was no change of hitting/scraping any existing wires, I used a straightened out metal coat hanger, sharpened/pointed the end a bit to help punch thru the rubber on both sides, and then used electrical tape to secure the wires I was going to run, and pushed the coat hanger thru the grommet.  You may have to do one or two wires at a time, depending upon size.  Worked well.

I ran my fog lights through the one on the drivers side. You have to cut the tip off the rubber. Inside pull bake the insulation under dash to access.
