2019 Silverado Driver Mirror Camera

2019 Silverado High Country with Technology Package. The drivers side mirror occasionally flickers or is completely black. I occasionally get the blue screen of “Service Rear Vision System” also. Dealer has already replaced the camera, done every software update/module reset possible, and now wants to replace the cable that goes from mirror, under dash, to behind rear seat (so essentially take the entire cabin out) based on their communication with GM. It’s my personal feelings they don’t know how to fix it. I’ve attached some pictures. Anyone else had this issue?

My LTZ with tech has never had although for the first time I had a 2 second blue flash saying service rear system. Anyway, the cable sounds like process of elimination. Hopefully it works.

I'm having the same issue you described. Same as the pic you posted with the entire drivers side view blacked out. Truck is brand new and has been this way since delivery.

I get the same thing on my '19 AT4 as your first picture about half the time. Put it in reverse, no picture from the driver side mirror cam, followed by 2 seconds of blue screen when shifting back to drive.  Started at about 6000 miles.  Haven't had it in to get looked at yet.

Ok everyone, I just left the dealership after replacing the coax cable that goes from the mirrors, under the dash, and back to the modules. Took them about 1.5 days to complete. So far when I left it has worked. However, the true test will be after a week of cold starts and seeing how it goes. I’ll keep you updated.

Thanks for the update on this! A day and a half concerns me. I can envision them dismantling the whole dash and driver's side interior. This truck is brand new with less than 600 miles and I don't want stripped fasteners and rattles. Hopefully I'm over thinking this.

I was worried about that as well. I talked to the tech and he was really going to take his time, and I decided that it was worth it to try and fix the problem. So far, so good.

Hopefully my repair will go as good as yours has. Would you mind sharing the name of your dealership and technician so I can have my dealership reach out to them for any beneficial advice? I will also share my results to your thread for others who may encounter the same issue. Thanks for getting this started.

The dealership I used was Steinle Chevrolet in Clyde, Ohio. I don’t know the tech’s name but they should know what was done. I hope it works for you! So far, so good on my end....
