SD card location

Hey all, in my 19 Sierra I have a sd card located in a slot in the center console. I read here that is for nav. In my 15 Sierra, I had one there but it was for music. Do the 19’s have one for music that I don’t know about?

I believe that is the only SD slot in the vehicle. Other trim levels without the Nav option and with a IOS level radio will have a SD card slot  below the radio and not in the console.

There should be a USB port in the same area that you can use for music.  I have a 'thumb drive' in mine with 1000's of songs loaded on it.  Head unit recognizes it, just have to select it as the input source.

You can also use a smartphone as a music source. 

 

Many/most of them now have lots of storage space available.
