Is this a Custom Trail Boss with the older AFM 5.3L V8? Some folks have had clamps on oil lines let go on those. Maybe one of yours got loose, rather than completely separating? Though I'd be hard pressed to believe two dealers wouldn't be able to find that so it's just a shot in the dark.

Soooo do you have copies of the repair orders you can post or did they even write it up? Other GM techs sometimes crack me up so I’m just wondering. Me and another tech at work do warranty work and it makes me lol very hard when the story goes something like ‘checked truk. Cleared the modules. Npf.’

Anyways. Post the repair orders, I’m curious!

Not acceptable. If it’s in the shop, it gets a write up. If this persists how in the hell is TAC or a field engineer going to decipher when/what/how was done?? Please post when you get a chance!

The electrical issues on these newer GMs is amazing.  2014-2020 has been a festival of f*cks.

Just a guess....Did they remove the battery cover and check underneath, not just the jumper access point but the whole cover, to check the condition of the all fusible links underneath? One could have fried or shorted to an adjacent one and burned up the insulation and cause electrical problems.

2020 denali 6.2 with perf kit. Bought 3 weeks ago, still in shop i only put 150 ish miles and ecm issues that GM techs cant figure out........
