Just lowering the rear?  I did that last week, ended up not liking it.  Removed the 2” block out of my at4. Didnt put anything in there. To much squat and rougher ride.

1. Jack the rear up

2. Unbolt the bottom of the rear shocks

3. Support the rear axle with a jack

4. Unbolt the u bolts in a cross pattern on one side.
5. Lower axle, swap blocks.
6. Raise axle back into position

7. Tighten u bolts in cross pattern to 120ft lbs.

8. Repeat steps 4-7

9. Bolt the shock back up

10. Lower truck back onto the ground.

I’ve heard loosen u bolts til almost off put jack stand on leaf spring then jack truck up and it should give you space to remove 2” block then put in the 1” the repeat on other side wonder if that would work

So you didn't like the ride after removing the block?  Did you go back to stock?

My buddy did same on his 2020 AT4 - put in 2" block to level it - he was not happy with the look or the ride - he went back to stock and is now considering leveling or lift.

I can't see how it hurts the ride putting shorter blocks in. If removed totally id have to make sure the driveshaft isn't going in the transfer case to far or that the shocks arent bottoming out rolling up the highway. The rear shocks don't have a ton of travel.

Would be easier to put an inch up front under the strut, less than a 1/2 inch spacer.  Its only a small amount and won't affect much. Just needs to be aligned afterwards.

Yup.  Since the rear rancho shocks were slighly compressed, gave it less travel. Put the blocks and oem ubolts back in
