First time poster

 

                       Looking to add power and heated tow mirrors to my truck. My current mirrors are all manual. Want the heated for clearing of ice, and power for adjusting going down the road. Question is does my truck have all the wiring for this and where can I purchase these besides the dealer?

You will need to purchase a door harness. Should be available online or from the dealer. There are a few after market mirror supplies but i went with OEM> Not a hard swap but much easier with the proper harnesses

If you already have the tow mirrors, and the rear window defroster, you already have heated mirrors (on the upper glass portion). My tow mirrors are manual, but when I use the rear window defroster, the mirrors melt off too. I can't help you with adding the power option though, haha.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm,  Never noticed the upper part of mirror melting off. Supposed get snow overnight will have to check it out

You can test them with one of those non-contact thermometers...

They've become are MUCH less expensive.
