Seat belt alarm

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.0 liter and my seatbelt alarm dings when I have my seat belt on and the alarm makes noise when I’m driving down the road then it will stop until I stop for a stop sign or get under 15 mph and it will start dinging again does anybody know how to disable this annoying alarm or fix it?

Put your driver's seat all the way up.  Go in from behind the seat.  There is a wire with a plastic connector that goes to the fitting where the seat belt snaps into.  Disconnect the wire.

Ok I disconnected The plug Under the seat and it’s still dinging at me when I get above 15mph. I’m not sure what else to do to stop it from Dinging at me.

Does it have a (front) passenger seat seatbelt sensor also?  I didn't think that was a feature until 2007.  If it does and you carry any weight in that seat or the weight sensor is broken, you might look under the passenger side to see if there is the same type of wire and disconnect, also.  Otherwise, see if there is a fuse to pull or post this under the "ask a GM Tech" section on here to see if they have any more ideas.
