Level Voids warranty?

This has been covered plenty here in other threads, but the short and sweet of it is the warranty is not voided. Warranty is a legal obligation. What can happen is a claim for a failure can be denied by the manufacturer if the part causing failure is the added part or a part damaged as a result of the added part. Hope this makes sense.

It doesnt void the warranty due to Magnusun Moss.....BUT the dealer/manufacturer can and will void your warranty claim anytime they please. You have the option of going to court and fighting their endless supply of lawyers and expert testimony from people that designed the vehicle...Thats why there are or at least were several companies (like BDS) that were assisting customers with representation/information for court cases.

I cant count how many people I know who have had claims denied due to mods that were clearly in violation of Maghusson Moss act. The manufacturers know that its in their favor and not worth it for you to fight it in court.

Toyota voided my power train warranty over tires that were .5 inches taller than spec....I chatted with a lawyer about Magnusson and Moss and he told me not to waste my time. I would lose...

You'd be a fool to not return the vehicle to stock trim prior to returning to a dealer for a warranty claim. CVs and ball joints,  you gotta pay to play. Trying to battle that when you have a lift that'd be silly. But if your major component driveline or power plant. Best believe it's going back to stock. Even if its 1K for tires, will be much cheaper on back end and can still use or sell those later.
