Hi,

I ordered a 2020 Silverado 3500 HD and did not order the 15 view camera system. My question is can i order a camera to put on the back of my truck camper and still view it on the screen in the truck?

Sir- If you are referring to the "invisible" camera view - you will not see that look on your screen as that is a "blend" from several of the 15 cameras to include the one mounted on the back of the trailer/RV. If you're just asking if you can put any camera back there and simply use it is a back up camera (no invisible trailer shot), then yes you can. Hope that helps.

There are two systems on these trucks that accept the gm accessory cameras:  360 deg camera (UVS) or 270 deg camera (UVI).  You need to have one or the other option to accept trailer camera.  If you have neither, you will not be available to use trailer cameras through the infotainment screen.
