Could you recommend which rust inhibitor/remover/dissolver and protective paint before the Daubert coating you are using? Any tips would you like to tell me?

I use Rustoleum Rust Dissolver where needed and apply a durable protective enamel paint, brand is irrelevant.  If you are looking for a paint specific to frames, Eastwood Chassis Paint works well, though any durable protective enamel paint will work.

I just watched an episode of vicegrip garage doing one of his rescues. This time it was a low mileage old firebird. It was near the Canadian border. A rusted mess. Parked years ago with rusted brake lines. While doing his walk around out stood big as life a rust proofing sticker. Growing up in New Jersey the only vehicles that didn’t rust weren’t driven in the winter or cleaned and treated yearly.
