Polished or chrome???

Looking for opinions, my 2015 LTZ currently has 18" wheels with the chrome "hubcap". I've finally found a 20" wheel that I like and my options are an OEM Denali wheel in polished aluminum or a replica wheel in chrome. I live in the midwest where a ton of salt is usually used during the winter months, so I'm inclined to go with the polished aluminum. But I like the bling of the chrome also. What are all your thoughts? has anyone had any of the replica chrome wheels and how are they holding up finish wise?

Polished, but I'm not a huge fan of chrome, I've owner replica wheels on other vehicles and they did fine for about 5 years

Chrome wheels look nice though a bit PITA to maintain.

You think cleaning  chrome is more of a pain than polishing polished wheels every time they get dirty!?

I've had 20" Yukon Denali chrome wheels like these on my 2015 Silverado for 5 northeast winters now:

I just make sure to keep the salt washed off them and then give them a quick coat of wax in the spring and fall.  No corrosion or delamination yet!

These are after 6 years on my other car in norther VA winters. Some winters are harsh with lots of salt, some are not. Definitely nowhere near a New England or Upper Midwest winter. I keep them waxed and hose any salt off within a few days.

I DO NOT let my wife drive it. See there is no curb rash. Still even as a spare car she is not allowed. [emoji23]

Thanks for the opinions, after reading the post above by Bob2C I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with the Oem polished wheel. Unless something else catches my eye between now & next Wednesday. I didn’t even think of curb rash until you posted that. My wife doesn’t drive my truck either, but I have to admit (but never to her) that I’ve scarred a wheel or two in my life. The polished aluminum is easier to have repaired if  that were to happen again.
