Tonneau Cover Security Questions

Ive got a Retrax Pro MX on my 19. Well made and about as secure as a tonneau can be.

Retrax series locks with a key.

tailgate can be closed without opening cover.

Cover can be opened without opening tailgate (assuming you have the key, or it is unlocked)

Open cover does not block rear window,

Cover can be latched anywhere from full closed to full open. 

 

Downside the the space at front of box (inside, rather than behind window) taken by the rolled up cover. 

More expensive.
